Jain Choghadiya · Indore
Shubh muhurat for your city and date — Amrut, Shubh, Labh, Chal, Udveg, Kaal and Rog for the day and the night, in English and Hindi.
What is Choghadiya?
Choghadiya (चौघड़िया) is a traditional Indian way of dividing the day into short parts to pick a favourable time for a new task. The time from sunrise to sunset is cut into eight equal parts, and the time from sunset to the next sunrise into eight more. Each part has one of seven names, and which name comes first depends on the weekday. Because the parts follow the local sunrise and sunset, they change with the city and the date.
